Open League: This league consists of teams that are created by the league members themselves. No draft or placement of players on teams will be conducted by the league chairperson. This league is not recommended for new curlers. Competiveness level: HIGH

League Age Limit: Age 16 and older may curl in the Open League. Members whose ages are 12-15 must curl with a parent, guardian, or sponsor at the club during the time such member is curling or socializing. Members whose age is 12-15 must have a minimum of 3 years curling experience.

Definition of Sponsor: A sponsor is a member of Blackhawk Curling Club who is not the child's parent or guardian, who has accepted responsibility for said child during his or her time at the club facility, on or off the ice.
