CURLING CLUB CLEANING DUTIES

2012-2013

Check the cleaning list to find your assigned week and team.  Cleaning time must be coordinated within your team and with the previous week’s team to achieve the most ideal plan.  It is also your job to contact the team leader for the next week.  As a team, we ask that you be vigilant all week to maintain a clean club, however, this is also expected of members on a regular basis.

CLUBHOUSE:

  • Vacuum the floor, including under viewing chairs, and the locker room.  The central vacuum outlets are on the center post and in the coat closet.
  • Empty the central vac canister, located in the supply closet.
  • Straighten chairs and clean table tops.
  • Clean all Glass.
  • Dust lights whenever needed.
  • Empty all garbage cans.
  • Clean kitchen area: scour sinks, clean off appliances, cabinets, island and counters.
  • Wash any dishes left in the sink.
  • Make sure dish sanitizer is turned off when not in use.
  • Wipe down front door, ice rink door, and dust lockers.

BATHROOMS:

  • Clean counters and washbowls.
  • Scour stools and urinal.
  • Clean and mop floors and base tiles.
  • Replenish tissue box, dispenser towels, trash liners and toilet paper.
  • Put an extra roll on the back of the stool.

ICE HOUSE:

  • Clean windows.
  • Vacuum carpet ends and side boards.  There is a shop vac to use for this.  The far end can be done with the central vac.
  • Wipe the shelves and replace tissues if needed.  Dump trash and replace liners.
  • Take the trash over to the dumpsters at the base of the flagpole/cell phone tower.
  •

All supplies are located in the storage room, under the kitchen sinks, and under the sink in the ladies room.  If you notice supplies are low, there is a “supplies needed” sign up sheet in the storage room, or you can call Sharon Davidson at 728-2071 and leave a message.
